White ink printing opens up a whole new world of creativity. The CMYK process cannot produce white ink, and therefore you are limited to what you can produce. Using white ink allows you to use unique coloured papers by placing multiple passes of white ink on the paper. The CMYK is then printed on top of the white ink, allowing colour vibrancy. Without this process the CMYK ink would absorb into the paper and would not stand out.
